Auschwitz Institute Featured in New Report on Global Efforts to Prevent Mass Atrocities

New York, September 26, 2012 – A new report highlighting organizations around the world that work to prevent mass atrocities describes the Auschwitz Institute as "creating a community of leaders committed to the prevention of genocide." "Voices from Civil Society: Global Efforts to Prevent Mass Atrocities," [published by the International Coalition for the Responsibility to Protect](http://responsibilitytoprotect.org/index.php/component/content/article/35-r2pcs-topics/4353-new-icrtop-publication-voices-from-civil-society-global-efforts-to-prevent-mass-atrocities-) (ICRtoP), offers a profile of "27 organizations working to consolidate support and understanding of the [ [Responsibility to Protect](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Responsibility_to_protect) ], build capacity of global and regional institutions to prevent atrocities, and alert and influence policymakers at all levels to save lives in at-risk situations."
