The Auschwitz Institute has joined the [Global Forum on Law, Justice and Development](http://globalforumljd.org/partners/index.htm) , a partnership of over 100 organizations convened by the World Bank Group for the purpose of "generating innovative legal solutions to development challenges." In a Letter of Endorsement signed October 25, 2012, executive director Tibi Galis stated that the Auschwitz Institute anticipates being involved in four areas, falling under the Thematic Working Group of Justice and Rule of Law Reform:
1. New models for the creation of peace infrastructures in fragile and post-conflict states that present a risk of destabilization to the international system. These models will be developed taking into account a genocide and mass atrocity prevention lens.
2. New models for the support of existing peace infrastructures in fragile and post-conflict states that present a risk of destabilization to the international system. These models will be developed taking into account a genocide and mass atrocity prevention lens.
3. New models for the creation of regional mechanisms that promote accountable institutions, market-friendly environments, and systems for social, justice, security and economic prosperity in a genocide and mass atrocity prevention framework.
4. Providing training and technical assistance to fragile and post-conflict states in transitional justice and other policy areas necessary for the creation of stable and prosperous societies that effectively prevent genocide and mass atrocity.
