Deconstructing Prevention: The Theory, Policy, and Practice of Mass Atrocity Prevention

February 25 and 26, 2013, the Auschwitz Institute will cohost a conference in New York City titled "[Deconstructing Prevention: The Theory, Policy, and Practice of Mass Atrocity Prevention](http://deconstructingprevention.wordpress.com/) ." The event, organized jointly with the [Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law's Holocaust, Genocide, and Human Rights Studies Program](http://www.cardozo.yu.edu/MemberContentDisplay.aspx?ccmd=ContentDisplay&ucmd=UserDisplay&userid=10618) , represents the Auschwitz Institute's latest initiative to drive the genocide prevention agenda forward, from the standpoint of both policy and academia.
