James Waller wins 2017 IAGS Engaged Scholarship Prize

Dr. James Waller, Director of Academic Programs at the Auschwitz Institute for Peace and Reconciliation, has recently been awarded the 2017 Engaged Scholarship Prize from the International Association of Genocide Scholars (IAGS)! Recognizing "exemplary scholarship along with engagement in genocide awareness and prevention," the prize was awarded to Dr. Waller by an IAGS committee composed of Executive and Advisory Board members who noted that he has "exhibited these qualities consistently throughout [his] career." The award will be presented to Dr. Waller at the upcoming 13th Conference of the International Association of Genocide Scholars, which will be held from July 9-13, 2017 at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia.
