NICARAGUA

In coordination with the office of the Ombudsman (Procurador) of El Salvador and Nicaragua, an initiative has been approved to include the Network and its goals in the regularly held meeting with all of the Central American Human Rights Ministers, which will take place in Managua, Nicaragua in the coming months -though the exact date has yet to be determined. The Network has been given a three hour time slot to present its goals, as well as the general theme of genocide prevention to all of Central America’s Ombudsmen, so that each has the opportunity to become involved in the Network’s future activities.
